The ode contest is now closed! However~
Listen up people, if you still have an ode you want to enter, submit it in a note to me. Not the club, but me, SQTifa, so that it can get read and submitted ASAP. Because with a grand total of total of 3 odes, any more would be GREATLY appreciated.
Anway! Voting is now open to anybody, member or otherwise. Just send a note to the club with the ode name and author of whom you are voting for.

"But how do I vote?"
-Good question. The voting will go the same way as the last contests.
Here’s a refresher:
Only two votes per person.
You cant vote for your own poem, no matter how lovely it is.
Don’t be mean with the voting, this: “I vote for #1 because #2 sucked ass” is a no-no.
Anybody can vote, members of this club or otherwise, so spread the word of this contest to any dev people you know that appreciate poetry via journal! It would be greatly appreciated <3
Because were all busy people, the polls will be open for ONE WEEK. Okay? But please try to vote BEFORE THEN. Meaning since the contest submissions are over tomorrow, you have until NEXT MONDAY to vote. And I mean it, there will be no extensions on this.
And the voting process will go something like this;
When the polls close the votes will be counted by the admins.
Each poem in the contest will be given a number and posted up on this account.
The number of the poem(s) you are voting for will be put into a note and sent to ~
PoetsAnonymous please, that way people wont feel upset if they get no votes and somebody gets all the votes or something, because we poets care a lot (maybe a bit to much...) About our writing, and we don’t want anybody to feel bad, because this is a fun contest and all ^_^

Its that time again, this months contest is....
an Ode!
But what's an Ode?
An ode is an exalted lyric poem, aiming at loftier thought, more dignified expression, and more intricate formal structure than most lyrics.
Lets dumb that down a bit...
Basically, an ode is a poem that tells in an original way what is good or unique about a subject and why the writer likes it so much.
